Welcome to the Big DICK PLAYER episode on That’s Good Sports. This special EP also features Broncos Country’s favorite yearly segment, Bad Poetry with Philip Rivers.

The Denver Broncos defeated the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football in dramatic fashion as defensive lineman Shelby Harris blocked Younghoe Koo’s second field goal attempt after head coach Vance Joseph called a timeout to ice the young kicker. Prior to the 4th quarter the story for the game was how good quarterback Trevor Siemian looked, and how well C.J. Anderson and Jamaal Charles were running the ball. Then, shit hit the fan.

The Chargers got a lucky interception that bounced off a foot on what should have been a pass interference. They scored quickly, which was followed by a Jamaal Charles fumble and another quick Chargers strike by Philip Rivers. The Los Angeles pass rush was too much for Garett Bolles and Menelik Watson late in the game. Melvin Ingram and Joey Bosa looked unstoppable, but Denver held on during the final game in week one of the 2017 NFL season.

Beth Mowins became the first woman in 30 years to do play by play for ESPN in the booth next to Rex Ryan, but Sergio Dipps stole the show with his strange sideline report.
